Getting an error message when I create a shipping plan in my SKUdrop account.

Troubleshooting Shipping Plan Errors in SKUdrop

If you're encountering an error message while creating a shipping plan in your SKUdrop account, please read the message carefully, as it often contains specific details about the issue.

🔴 Common Amazon Error Messages

One of the most frequent errors currently relates to Amazon’s ASIN-wide storage limits, introduced in March/April 2025. These limits restrict the quantity of a product (ASIN) allowed in fulfillment centers across all sellers, not just your account.

Example Error:

“An error occurred on the Amazon side for some of the product(s). Too much inventory for this ASIN in fulfillment centres.”
Followed by: “Consider deleting the shipment and redoing with a smaller quantity.”

This means Amazon has blocked the shipping plan due to reaching the allowed inventory threshold for that ASIN.

✅ Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Try creating the shipping plan with just one SKU at a time

If you’re creating a multi-SKU shipment, one or more SKUs might be causing the issue. Breaking them up can help you identify the problematic ASIN.

  1. Check the listing status in your Amazon account

Ensure that each SKU is:

  • Active or Inactive (Out of Stock)
  • Set to FBA, not FBM
  • Not Closed—you cannot create shipping plans for closed listings
