What happens if there are customs issues or delays either in the U.S. or when leaving China? Who is responsible for covering any storage fees, waiting time, or inspection-related costs?

Customs Delays – What You Need to Know

If there are delays at customs in the U.S. or when leaving China, please be aware of the following:

🔍 Customs Inspections

Occasionally, customs may pull a container for additional inspection before departure from China or upon arrival in the U.S.

  • In such cases, SKUdrop will cover any additional inspection costs incurred by customs authorities.

⚠️ Exceptions – Product Compliance Issues

However, if customs discovers issues related to your product—such as non-compliance with import regulations—and this results in:

  • Additional delays
  • Storage fees
  • Or other penalties

Then the customer will be responsible for those costs. SKUdrop cannot absorb charges caused by products that do not meet import or compliance requirements.
