How to Download Your IEN Number for PVA Shipments to the UK

If you're using Postponed VAT Accounting (PVA) for your shipments into the UK, you can download your Import Entry Numbers (IENs) through your Government Gateway account once the Customs declaration has been completed.

📥 Steps to Access Your IENs:

1. Go to the UK Government CDS Payment Records Portal
2. Sign in using your Government Gateway credentials.
3. Select “View your postponed VAT statements.”
4. Download the relevant monthly statement. This document includes your:

• Import Entry Number (IEN)
• Value of goods
• VAT postponed via PVA

💡 Tip: These statements are only available online for 6 months, so we recommend downloading and saving them regularly for your records.
