I thank it may be helpful to first explain how SKUdrop works, as we are a little different from a traditional freight forwarder that simply collects a shipment from your supplier and delivers it directly to the US.

SKUdrop operates a large warehouse in Yiwu, Zhejiang, China, where our customers store and manage their inventory before deciding where it ultimately needs to go.

The first step would be to create a SKUdrop account and add your products to your Dashboard. You would then create an Inbound Shipment, and our system will provide the warehouse delivery details and SKUdrop carton labels for your supplier.

Your supplier would apply those labels to the cartons and send the products to our Yiwu warehouse. As your products are already located in Zhejiang, getting them to our warehouse should be relatively straightforward.

Once received, the inventory is recorded against your account and can remain at SKUdrop until you are ready to ship it.

From there, you can create an outbound shipment to virtually any destination. In your case, you could initially send some or all of the products directly to your home in the US so you can inspect and test them yourself.

For future shipments, you could then send inventory directly from SKUdrop to Amazon FBA, and we can also provide services such as FNSKU labelling, carton preparation, repacking, inspection and other preparation where required.

One of the main advantages is that your supplier doesn't need to arrange a new international shipment every time. Your inventory can remain with SKUdrop in China and you simply decide through the Dashboard how much you want to ship, when you want to ship it and where you want it to go.

Regarding pricing, we would need a little more information before we could provide an accurate shipping quote. You mentioned a carton weight of 18 kg and volume of 0.101 CBM, but we would also need to know the total number of cartons, the quantity of products in each carton, and the US delivery address/ZIP code.

You have also mentioned that the products contain lithium-ion batteries. This is important because lithium batteries are classified as dangerous goods for transportation and can affect which shipping methods are available. We would therefore need the battery specifications and applicable documentation, such as the UN38.3 test report and MSDS/SDS, so our shipping team can confirm the available shipping options and pricing.

The HTS classifications you have provided, 8513.10.20.00 for the main products and 8513.90.20.00 for the miscellaneous parts are also useful information for the customs process. Final classification and applicable US duties would need to be confirmed as part of the import/customs process.
