I get an error message "There is currently no active offer for this listing. This item must be removed. This product will be eligible for inbound once the inventory is no longer stranded."

Some steps to try and fix the "Stranded" products error message

When attempting to create an Amazon inbound shipment and the system returns the following error:

"There is currently no active offer for this listing. This item must be removed. This product will be eligible for inbound once the inventory is no longer stranded."

This message indicates that Amazon is currently rejecting the creation of the inbound shipment because the product has no active FBA offer linked to it. Most likely, the item is flagged as stranded inventory.

✅ What This Means:

Stranded inventory typically occurs when:

  • Inventory exists in an Amazon warehouse without an active listing, or
  • The listing has errors or issues that prevent it from being processed for FBA.

📌 What You Should Do:

Please review and resolve the issue via the “Fix Stranded Inventory” section in Amazon Seller Central.

You may need to:

  • Relink an existing listing
  • Update listing details
  • Or create a new FBA offer

📚 Helpful Resources:

Once resolved, you should be able to proceed with the shipment creation.
