How to Create an Airfreight Shipment in SKUdrop

✈️ SKUdrop offers Airfreight shipping from our China warehouse to Amazon FBA warehouses, providing a faster alternative to our Sea Freight services.


Our estimated Airfreight transit time is 10–15 days from dispatch at our China warehouse to delivery at Amazon.


Follow the steps below to create an Airfreight shipping plan, compare shipping options and obtain your shipping quote.


Step 1. Navigate to Outbound Shipping Orders


Log in to your SKUdrop account and go to:


Shipping Orders > Outbound


Step 2. Set Up Your Shipping Parameters


Select the following options:


  • Warehouse Node: SKUdrop China
  • Shipping Destination: Amazon FBA
  • Shipping Type: SKUdrop Automated


Then click “Confirm Selection.”


Step 3. Enable Airfreight Shipping Options


Before creating your shipping plan, locate the Sea/Air toggle and select **“Air.”**This enables both Airfreight and Sea Freight shipping options, allowing you to switch between them and compare prices when selecting your shipping method.


Important: You must select “Air” before creating your shipping plan. If you leave the initial selection set to “Sea,” only Sea Freight shipping options will be available.



Step 4. Select Cartons to Ship


Choose the number of cartons for each SKU you wish to include in your shipment.


Check that the selected quantities are correct before proceeding.


Step 5. Create Your Shipping Plan in Amazon Seller Central


Click “Create Shipping Plan within Seller Central.”


SKUdrop will begin generating the shipping plan in your connected Amazon Seller Central account.


This process may take a few minutes.


Step 6. Choose an Amazon Placement Fee Option


Amazon may present several placement fee options depending on your shipment.


SKUdrop will highlight the most cost-effective option, although you are free to select any available option that best suits your requirements.


Step 7. Compare and Select Your Shipping Method


Once your shipping plan has been generated, you can use the Sea/Air toggle to compare the available shipping methods and prices.


✈️ Airfreight


  • One Airfreight service option with an estimated transit time of 10–15 days.
  • No Regular, Medium or Express service levels.
  • Final delivery to Amazon is by UPS or FedEx only.
  • No truck delivery option or Amazon delivery appointment is required.


🚢 Sea Freight


  • Three shipping options: Regular, Medium and Express, each with different pricing and estimated transit times.
  • Depending on the shipment, final delivery may be by UPS, FedEx or truck.


To select your preferred shipping method:


  1. Use the Sea/Air toggle to compare Airfreight and Sea Freight.
  2. Click “Lowest to Highest” to sort the available quotes by price.
  3. Review the available shipping options.
  4. Select your preferred option by clicking the circle next to the corresponding price.


Important: Airfreight must be enabled before creating the shipping plan. If you initially select Sea, only Sea Freight options will be available.


Step 8. Submit Your Shipping Plan and Send Carton Labels


Click “Send Shipping Plan Estimate and Send Carton Labels.”


This completes the shipping plan creation process.


Your shipping plan will now be available in Amazon Seller Central, and the relevant carton labels will be provided for your shipment.


Step 9. Tracking Your Airfreight Shipment


Although Airfreight shipments cannot currently be tracked through SKUdrop's Tracking HQ, you can track the final delivery to Amazon directly through UPS or FedEx.


Once your shipment has been collected by UPS or FedEx, tracking information becomes available through the carrier's website.


To obtain your tracking number:


  1. Contact SKUdrop Support at support@skudrop.com.
  2. Request the UPS or FedEx tracking number for your Airfreight shipment.
  3. Once the carrier has collected your shipment, enter the tracking number on the relevant website:


Please note: Tracking will only become available once UPS or FedEx has collected and processed your shipment. Tracking information is not available through SKUdrop's Tracking HQ for Airfreight shipments.


✅ Your Airfreight Shipping Plan Is Complete!


Your Airfreight shipping plan has now been created in Amazon Seller Central.


SKUdrop will coordinate the shipping process from our China warehouse to your designated Amazon FBA destination.


Our estimated Airfreight transit time is 10–15 days from dispatch at our China warehouse to delivery at Amazon.


Please note that transit times are estimates and may be affected by customs clearance, carrier schedules and other factors beyond our control.
