Do you have a Step by Step guide to start using SKUdrop?
Here’s how you can get started with SKUdrop with a Step by Step guide.
Thank you for considering working with SKUdrop.
1. Set Up Your SKUdrop Account & Onboarding
- Once your SKUdrop account is created, connect your Amazon Seller Central account to SKUdrop.
- In your Dashboard, click “Upload Products” to start importing your products.
- The system will import your SKUs directly from Amazon, to add them to your Dashboard you will need to provide for each product:
- A valid US HS Code (usually from your supplier)
- Master carton dimensions and weight
- Units per master carton
2. Create an Inbound Shipment to Our Warehouse
- Start an inbound shipment using the SKUdrop dashboard, go to:
- Shipping Orders
- Inbound
- You’ll need to enter:
- Total number of master cartons - each time you inbound products
- Supplier cost per unit - first time only
- Short product description - first time only
- Factory name and contact details - first time only
- Estimated delivery date - it doesn't have to be precise as it's only an estimate
- Upload your commercial invoice - first time only
3. Receive Warehouse Address and Labels
- After completing the inbound shipment setup, you’ll receive an email with:
- Further instructions to complete the process
- The full warehouse address
- Packing list you'll need to send to your supplier
- Where and how to download the SKUdrop labels, these are for your master cartons (your supplier must attach these to every carton)
Please note: Cartons arriving without these labels can’t be identified and will be rejected and returned to your supplier.
4. Arrange Shipment from Your Supplier
- Share the Warehouse Address, Packing List and SKUdrop Labels with your supplier.
- Your supplier (usually with a local logistics company) will then arrange delivery to our warehouse in Yiwu China. Local transport typically costs about $20–$25 USD per CBM, with a $40 USD surcharge for shipments under 15 CBM, you will need to pay your supplier for this service.
5. Once Your Goods Arrive
- After we receive your products and they are checked in and added to your inventory you can start creating outbound shipping plans to Amazon directly from your SKUdrop Dashboard, go to:
- SKUdrop China Node
- Amazon FBA
- SKUdrop Automated
- Then click “Confirm Selection”
- Add the number of master cartons for each SKU
- Select "Create Shipping Plan Within Seller Central"
The system will then automatically connect to your Amazon account and generate the shipping plan.
Once the plan has been created, you’ll be prompted to select your preferred Placement Fee option — usually the most cost-effective one based on your shipment.
After selecting the placement option, the system will display available shipping methods, including Regular, Medium, and Express Sea options, choose the shipping option you prefer then select "Confirm Shipping Plan, Estimate and send Carton Labels".
That's it, you're done, we will take over from here and get your products to Amazon.
🔹 Important: If you prefer to use Airfreight, you must select that option before creating the shipping plan.
Cost Overview:
- Local delivery to warehouse: $20–$25 USD per CBM (+$40 for shipments under 15 CBM) — paid to your supplier or the local logistics company.
- There are no initial inbound fees, you only pay for any additional services such as the outbound shipping, prep fees and Duties and Tariffs, these are all managed via your SKUdrop account.
