Can I ship using De Minimis to the USA?

De Minimis rule explained in simple terms.

Understanding the De Minimis Rule

The De Minimis rule applies to items valued at up to $800 (USD) based on their fair retail value in the U.S., not the commercial invoice value. This rule allows such shipments to enter the United States duty-free when sent via postal or express courier services (e.g., USPS, DHL, FedEx), not by ocean freight or container shipments.

It's important to note that U.S. Customs determines the value based on what the item would reasonably sell for in the U.S. market, not what was paid for it or declared on the invoice.
