# What happens if there are customs issues or delays either in the U.S. or when leaving China? Who is responsible for covering any storage fees, waiting time, or inspection-related costs?

## Customs Delays – What You Need to Know

If there are delays at **customs in the U.S.** or when **leaving China**, please be aware of the following:

#### 🔍 Customs Inspections

Occasionally, customs may pull a container for **additional inspection** before departure from China or upon arrival in the U.S.

* In such cases, **SKUdrop will cover any additional inspection costs** incurred by customs authorities.

#### ⚠️ Exceptions – Product Compliance Issues

However, if customs discovers **issues related to your product**—such as non-compliance with import regulations—and this results in:

* Additional **delays**
* **Storage fees**
* Or other **penalties**

Then the **customer will be responsible** for those costs. SKUdrop cannot absorb charges caused by products that **do not meet import or compliance requirements**.
