# If part of our incoming shipment is delayed will this delay processing an outbound shipment of the items that arrive first?

## If part of our incoming shipment is delayed will this delay processing an outbound shipment of the items that arrive first?

When creating an outbound shipping plan, it’s important to know that you can only include inventory that has already arrived and been received into the SKUdrop warehouse. If only part of your incoming shipment arrives and is processed, you’ll be able to create an outbound shipment using just those items. Any delayed cartons or items that haven’t yet been received won’t be available for outbound shipping until they arrive and are processed.

So, in summary:

* **You can create an outbound shipment using items that have already arrived and are in inventory.**
* **Delays in part of your incoming shipment won’t stop you from shipping out the items that are already there.**
* **You won’t be able to include the delayed items in the outbound plan until they’ve arrived and been received.**
