# I would like to request the IEN number for my UK shipments

## How to Download Your IEN Number for PVA Shipments to the UK

If you're using **Postponed VAT Accounting (PVA)** for your shipments into the UK, you can download your **Import Entry Numbers (IENs)** through your Government Gateway account once the Customs declaration has been completed.

### 📥 Steps to Access Your IENs:

1. Go to the UK Government CDS Payment Records Portal
2. Sign in using your **Government Gateway** credentials.
3. Select **“View your postponed VAT statements.”**
4. Download the relevant monthly statement. This document includes your:

* Import Entry Number (IEN)
* Value of goods
* VAT postponed via PVA

💡 **Tip:** These statements are only available online for **6 months**, so we recommend downloading and saving them regularly for your records.
