# Can I change my HS Code on shipments in transit?

## How to change a HS code for shipments in transit and in my SKUdrop account.

**How to Change an HS Code for Your Shipment**

If you need to **change the HS code** on a shipment that is already **in transit**, please contact **SKUdrop Support immediately**.

* If the shipment has **not yet been processed through Customs**, we may still be able to request a change to the HS code.
* However, if it has **already cleared Customs**, the HS code **cannot be changed** for that shipment.

### Updating HS Codes for Future Shipments

To update the HS code for future shipments, you must do so **before creating a shipping plan**:

1. Go to **"Uploaded Products"** in your SKUdrop account.
2. Click on the **SKU** you want to update.
3. Enter the new **HS code**.
4. Click **"Confirm"**, then **"Save"** to apply the changes.

Be sure the update is saved properly, as this information is used during the customs documentation process.
